What metals can a fiber laser cut?

Fiber lasers cut steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, carbon steel, galvanised steel and titanium. Which metals and thicknesses a specific machine handles depends on its laser power and source.

Which laser source is best: MAX, Raycus or IPG?

The IPG is capable of cutting aluminium, brass, copper and non-ferrous metals. The same goes for the MAX in 3kW or 6kW and above, and the Raycus in 6kW and above.

What bed size do I need for my workshop?

Cutting beds range from compact (1.3m x 0.9m) to full scale (6.0m x 2.5m). Consider the size of the materials you will be cutting and your available space, and speak to our team about which size suits you best.
