Open bed fiber laser cutting machines give metal fabrication workshops direct access to the cutting table for loading and unloading suitable metal sheets. These CNC machines cut suitable steel, stainless steel and aluminium with a focused fiber laser beam. Compared with fully enclosed systems, open-table configurations can simplify overhead or forklift-assisted loading, although site safety controls and access arrangements must be carefully assessed. Available features vary by machine, including table arrangement, laser power, cutting dimensions and material-handling capability.

Exchange-table systems may suit repeat sheet work where loading time limits throughput. Enclosed sheet fiber lasers may be preferable where containment and operator separation are priorities. Laser source

We have 3 laser source options, the MAX, Raycus and IPG source. The IPG is capable of cutting Aluminium brass copper and non-ferrous metals. The same goes for the MAX in 3kW or 6kW and above, and the Raycus in 6kW and above. 

Speed

With a larger motor set your machine will be able to accelerate and move faster. Keep this in mind when looking at higher powered machines if you plan to cut thinner metal stock!
