Beige Skin Tone Acrylic
Our Skin Tone colour acrylics are high grade cast acrylic with gloss finish on one side and matte finish on the other, allowing you to choose your finish. For exact colour swatches you can purchase sample swatch packs. See sample swatches in the materials list.
Protective Masking
Each side of the acrylic is coated in a paper film, protective layer for protection during transport and storage. For best results with your acrylic ensure that it is stored lying flat to avoid warpage and remove plastic film before etching.
Why Use Cast Acrylic?
Cast acrylic material provides a high thickness consistency and is easy to fabricate, with less chance of warping or shrinkage, when compared to extruded acrylic. Cast acrylic will cut easily without meting edges and can be polished to a high lustre after cutting.
Note: The circular shape shown in product images is for illustrative purposes only. Materials are supplied as flat square/rectangular sheets according to the selected size variant.
⚠️ Important Product Information ⌄
At Koenig Machinery, we're committed to providing high-quality acrylic sheets. Please review the following information before purchasing.
Colour Accuracy Disclaimer
We take care to ensure all acrylic product images are photographed using colour-calibrated equipment and controlled lighting to provide the most accurate representation possible.
However, colours and tones may appear differently depending on the device used to view them. Variations in monitors, phones and tablets — including brightness, contrast and colour settings — can affect how colours are displayed.
Unless a viewing device has been professionally calibrated, the colour shown on screen may differ slightly from the physical material.
For colour-critical applications, we recommend purchasing a sample or swatch pack prior to ordering. Colour variation caused solely by screen display differences is not generally a reason for return or refund, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Surface & Film Appearance
Some sheets may have minor marks, wrinkles or imperfections in the protective film or acrylic itself. Grade 2 sheets may show these more noticeably, which is reflected in their pricing.
Protective Film
Wrinkles in the protective film may sometimes cause light fogging after laser cutting. Use an appropriate acrylic-safe cleaning product.
Removing Protective Film
Film on sheets stored for extended periods may adhere more firmly. This does not normally affect the acrylic itself.
- Apply gentle heat using a hair dryer or low-temperature heat gun.
- Avoid overheating the acrylic.
- Use masking tape to lift difficult edges.
- Roll the film back over itself and peel slowly.
- Use a plastic scraper or rounded tool where necessary.
- Remove residue using a cleaner suitable for acrylic.
Storage & Care
Store acrylic sheets flat, away from heat and direct sunlight to prevent warping or damage to the protective film.
Sheet Sizes & Tolerances
Actual sheet dimensions may be slightly larger than advertised. For example, 1200 × 900 mm may measure approximately 1220 × 905 mm. The 300 × 200 mm option is cut to the specified size.
- Thickness: ±10%
- Cutting: ±5 mm
Shipping is generally more economical for smaller sheets weighing up to 22 kg.
