Where Koenig has agreed to extend credit to a customer, Koenig may vary, suspend, or terminate credit arrangements and may report payment defaults to credit reporting bodies in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the applicable credit reporting provisions.
5. Overseas Disclosure
Some of the third parties to whom Koenig discloses personal information may be located outside Australia, or may process or store data on servers located overseas. This includes, without limitation:
- International freight carriers (such as FedEx Australia) whose systems or parent entities operate outside Australia.
- Analytics and advertising platforms (including Google and Meta), whose servers are located in the United States — see clause 6.2 for further detail.
- Cloud-hosted service providers and software platforms that may store data on overseas infrastructure.
Where Koenig discloses personal information to an overseas recipient, Koenig takes reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient handles the information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
By providing your personal information to Koenig and by placing an order with or otherwise dealing with Koenig, you consent to the disclosure of your personal information to overseas recipients in the circumstances described in this policy where such disclosure is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

- Customer transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with tax and corporate law obligations.
- Warranty and service records are retained for the duration of the relevant warranty period and for a reasonable period thereafter.
- Marketing consent records are retained until you opt out, after which they are updated to reflect your opt-out status.
When personal information is no longer required, Koenig will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it securely.
