Koenig Machinery Pty Ltd ABN 93 167 018 117 (Koenig, we, us, our) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of its customers and all persons who deal with Koenig. Koenig complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in Schedule 1 of that Act.

Koenig trades under its own name and under the subsidiary and associated trading names Flux3DP, xTool AU, KOENIG Machinery and Koenig Machinery NSW. This Privacy Policy applies to all of these trading names and any related operations.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Koenig collects personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business functions and activities. The types of personal information we collect include:

• Your full name and contact details (email address, phone number, fax number, and postal address).
• Billing and delivery addresses.
• Order details, transaction history, and payment information (payment card details are processed by our payment gateway provider and are not stored by Koenig).

Koenig collects personal information directly from you where possible, including in store, by phone, by email, or through our website. 2. Why We Collect Personal Information

Koenig does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own commercial purposes. Koenig may collect, use, and disclose personal information for the purposes of identity verification, credit assessment, account administration, order fulfilment, service delivery, and marketing.

Koenig may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients where necessary for those purposes:

• Credit reporting bodies, for the purposes of assessing creditworthiness, credit standing, credit history, and credit capacity, and reporting defaults or adverse credit events as permitted by law.
• Financial institutions and payment service providers, for transaction processing, credit assessment, and fraud prevention.
• Service providers engaged by Koenig to assist with business operations, including IT systems, customer support, fulfilment, and marketing — each bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Freight and logistics providers (including Australia Post, StarTrack Express, Direct Freight, and similar carriers), for arranging delivery of goods.
• Legal and accounting advisers, on a confidential basis, for professional advice or to protect Koenig's or your interests.
• Debt recovery agencies, where recovery of outstanding amounts is required.
• Regulatory or law enforcement bodies, where required or authorised by law or court order.
• Other persons or entities to whom you have consented to disclosure, or to whom disclosure is otherwise permitted under the Privacy Act.

Where Koenig has agreed to extend credit to a customer, Koenig may vary, suspend, or terminate credit arrangements and may report payment defaults to credit reporting bodies in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the applicable credit reporting provisions.

5. Overseas Disclosure

Some of the third parties to whom Koenig discloses personal information may be located outside Australia, or may process or store data on servers located overseas. This includes, without limitation:

• International freight carriers (such as FedEx Australia) whose systems or parent entities operate outside Australia.
• Analytics and advertising platforms (including Google and Meta), whose servers are located in the United States — see clause 6.2 for further detail.
• Cloud-hosted service providers and software platforms that may store data on overseas infrastructure.

Where Koenig discloses personal information to an overseas recipient, Koenig takes reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient handles the information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

By providing your personal information to Koenig and by placing an order with or otherwise dealing with Koenig, you consent to the disclosure of your personal information to overseas recipients in the circumstances described in this policy where such disclosure is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

6. Website, Cookies and Analytics

6.1 Website Security

Our websites (koenigmachinery.com.au; flux3dp.com.au; xtool.koenigmachinery.com.au) use SSL/TLS encryption to protect data transmitted between your browser and our website. All payment transactions are processed through a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway using industry-standard encryption.

6.2 Cookies

Koenig uses cookies on its website to improve your browsing experience and the functionality of our online store. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We use two types of cookies:

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can manage your Meta advertising preferences through your Facebook account settings. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies; however, doing so may affect the functionality of some features of our website.

6.3 Statistical Information

Koenig collects non-personal statistical information about use of its website, including the number of visits, pages viewed, and session duration. This information is used in aggregate form for website improvement purposes and does not identify individual users.

7. Security

Koenig takes reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These measures include secure data storage, access controls, and staff training.

Koenig will not charge you for making a request, but may charge a reasonable fee for providing access where permitted by law.

9. Data Retention

Koenig retains personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. In general:

• Customer transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with tax and corporate law obligations.
• Warranty and service records are retained for the duration of the relevant warranty period and for a reasonable period thereafter.
• Marketing consent records are retained until you opt out, after which they are updated to reflect your opt-out status.

When personal information is no longer required, Koenig will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it securely.

Koenig will acknowledge your complaint promptly and endeavour to resolve it within 30 days.
